The Black Crowes announce the addition of two very special shows for their 2008 tour. On October 30th and 31st, The Black Crowes have added two additional nights at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City with special guest Patti Smith and her band. The 2 added Hammerstein shows are in addition to the existing dates taking place there on October 27 & 28. The Black Crowes will conclude their six night run in New York City with two sold-out acoustic performances at Town Hall on November 3 & 4. The October 30 & 31 shows will go on sale Friday, August 22. The Black Crowes 2008 Tour, which is in support of their new studio album entitled “Warpaint’, will have the band perform 129 shows, in 101 cities, in 5 different countries. The band began their tour on March 2 and will conclude with a five night run at the famed Fillmore in San Francisco on Chris Robinson's birthday, December 20.
